Helions Bumpstead Village Hall
The Village Hall is situated on Mill Road, in the centre of the Village, close to the Church and the Three Horseshoes. The postcode is CB9 7AQ. There is a car park behind the Hall and a children’s play area and access up the hill to the Sports Pavilion and Recreation Ground.
The whole Hall was completely refurbished in 2018 and is now warm and cozy in the winter and light and airy in the summer. There is level access through the front doors, a disabled toilet/baby change, and an induction loop. The kitchen is well stocked with crockery and cutlery, two fridges, a commercial dishwasher, and electric cookers, and is licensed for the preparation of food. There is a portable stage that can be erected quickly and easily. The Committee Room has separate access and is regularly used for meetings by both the Parish Council and the Hall Committee.
Helions Bumpstead Village Hall is a registered charity, number 301337.
The Hall is available to hire at very reasonable rates for regular classes, parties, family celebrations, etc. Hire of the Hall includes the use of the kitchen and its equipment, and tables & chairs. Numbers are limited by our premises license: 150 for dancing, 100 seated.
2023 hire rates are:
£12.50 Hourly Rate for regular bookings
£95 for single parties/events (up to 6 hours)
(reduced to £85 for residents of Helions Bumpstead)

Who we are
Management Committee
The Hall Committee is responsible for the care and maintenance of the Village Hall and consists of the usual officers, plus representatives from all the Village groups and organisations that regularly use the Hall. The Committee meets on the third Monday of every month at 7.30 PM, in the Committee Room.
